Event date: 11 October 2018
At our October Members’ Breakfast, members were challenged to think about whether we have built resilience into our organisations, workplaces and employees to take account of the threat of terrorism. We learned that attack techniques developed elsewhere are easily shared around the globe, but so are lessons learned. The most sensible approach is ‘Be alert, not alarmed’.
We heard from a UK policing expert who was directly involved in responding to a major terrorist attack. Our hosts, Chamber member S-RM, also shared with us some information on the top five terrorism threats on the African continent that they are monitoring closely. All in all, members left with a better understanding of this threat to business continuity.
Our breakfast events are for members only and offer an opportunity to openly discuss challenges your business is facing, and to learn from our guest speakers and from fellow members. Contact Eimear with any queries: firstname.lastname@example.org
