Simon Murphy, Second Secretary Politics and Economics at the British High Commission joined this Members Only event to brief attendees on negotiations around the forthcoming trade agreement between the UK and the South African Customs Union. He was joined by Qaqamba Silwana, economist with the High Commission, who shared with us his view on South Africa’s economic outlook.
This was followed by a round table discussion on the topic, chaired by Cape Town Consul General, Ed Roman.
The breakfast meeting was kindly hosted by ENSafrica at their Foreshore offices.
